AboutTHE BASICS ☆ Moderated posting is in effect in this community. ☆ All posts must be directly related to Arashi. ☆ As this is a fan community, no bashing of the group is allowed. ☆ Think before you post. It's okay to post something potentially controversial as long as you're aware of what you're doing and will be able to handle the consequences. ☆ Browse through the entries first to make sure you're not reposting the same content. ☆ Don't repost over and over again if your entry was rejected, especially if reasons were given for it; you will be banned after the third try. ☆ Not sure something is allowed? Please contact the mod first. Saying that in your post without actually doing so will also lead to a rejection. THE SPECIFICS ☆ Those who share frequently or regularly in the community will be given pre-approved posting access; however, if you break any of the rules, your access will automatically be revoked. ☆ Requests are allowed, but they must be made to this post only. All requests made to the community will be rejected. ☆ External links to friends-locked community posts are allowed, but must be tagged with the *locked (community) tag. If posts in personal journals are public for a period of time, please state clearly in your entry how long it will be left public for, and tag it with the *public (temporary) tag. Linking to already friends-locked entries in personal journals is not allowed and will be rejected. ☆ Please tag your entries accordingly; you can find a full list in the sidebar of the community layout. If you're not sure which tag to use, say so and it will be done for you. ☆ Posts with duplicate information such as news, reader-voted polls or rumours that have already been posted to the community will be rejected; the exceptions to this rule are scans, downloads, fansubs and translations. ☆ Re-posting/Reuploading of files and images is not allowed under any circumstances if the source provider explicitly states not to repost them elsewhere. (Click here for more information.) If you are not the original source, you must clearly state that it is not yours and provide credit (with permission obtained). Failure to do so will lead to a temporary ban of up to a month depending on the circumstances. ☆ Images posted to the the community are allowed a maximum width of 400 px; any images that exceed this limit must either be resized or placed behind an LJ-cut, as are instances with three or more images. Text should also not be in huge font or blinding colours. If a post is deemed too long, a request will be made to place some of the contents behind an LJ cut. ☆ Fanworks such as graphics, ringtones, fanart/videos and layouts/themes are no longer permitted, as there is a specific community created for this very purpose; please post them in  iza_now instead.☆ No fangirl/introduction posts, reviews or polls please. The community is not your journal. ☆ While celebrations of Arashi members' birthdays are welcome, they will now be compiled into master birthday posts made by a mod, which you can comment to with links to your graphics, picspams, etc. Please do not make new posts to the community with them, because they will be rejected or deleted. ☆ Likewise, posts about Oricon sales will be limited to landmark dates-- first day sales, first week, month, year, and so forth. Posts about sales numbers on other dates will only be allowed if other information such as fan-voted rankings are also included. ☆ Official videos of any sort from Johnny's net are not allowed at all in this community, whether in their raw form, subtitled, or as a request. They have already issued a warning about the reuploading of their videos and threatened to end this service on their site if people continue to violate their rules. ☆ Community advertisements are allowed in the community, given they adhere to the rules and are either a one-time occurrence, or advertised a maximum of once every six months; this also applies to recurring memes, such as friending memes (hate memes are no longer allowed). The only exception to this rule at present time are fan meet-ups, but if posts are made too frequently to the community a request to ease up on them may be issued. ☆ Sales posts are banned in the community; any and all posts pertaining to sales will be rejected. If you have something you want to sell, please check out the links to the right for more relevant places to post. Links to online shopping sites such as Yesasia and CDJapan are allowed provided they are not affiliate or webgains links. For-profit links such as LinkBucks are banned as well. ☆ Finally, fanfiction is not allowed here either. There are at least two other communities created for this purpose, and you will most likely receive more attention over there.
